Most cookie banners leak
The law requires a banner, yet most fire tracking scripts before the visitor agrees. The browser fetches tags already in the HTML before any JavaScript runs, so a client-side blocker cannot stop them. Many banners also slow the page, break the cache or make refusal harder than acceptance.
What it does
Four consent categories
Necessary, Performance, Functionality and Advertising. Necessary stays on, because the cart needs it.
An auto-blocker that blocks
Third-party scripts wait for consent, including tags already in the HTML.
Cookie scanner and declaration
A scan of your site writes the cookie declaration, so the published list stays accurate.

Google tags follow the visitor’s choice, as required for ads and analytics in the EEA.

Cookies the scanner does not recognise are categorised by a central Ergonet service.
Settings and consent expiry
Switch it on or off and set how long consent lasts (180 days by default).
Why it is different
Blocking on the server
Tags already in the HTML (a non-lazy iframe, a script src, a fetch from inline JS) are neutralised on the server, before the browser can fetch them. This is where client-side banners leak.
No slowdown behind a page cache
The banner markup is the same in the cached HTML for everyone, and the browser decides from the consent cookie. It works behind a full-page cache like Rocket Cache with no server round-trip.
GDPR-correct by design
Accept and Reject carry equal weight. Consent is versioned, so when the categories change an old choice counts as no consent.

Yes. Tags already in the HTML are neutralised on the server before they reach the browser.
Which platforms does it support?
It runs on CS-Cart 4.18, in production on our own online store. A version for other platforms, Astro first, is in development.
What about my Google tags?
They follow the visitor’s choice through Google Consent Mode v2.
